That’s pretty much my excuse for everything. But seriously, I have absolutely neglected my email list.

I cannot tell you how many times I have heard that statement in my career. And I never heeded those sage words. Until now.
Today I started the “Your First Funnel” training from Clickfunnels. The whole thing cost me $30 and so far it has totally been worth it. Even though this is the first official day, I have had access to the training for three days.
The first five days are dedicated to creating a lead magnet. Today they talked about the importance of the email list. They also explained how you should expect to make $1 per name per month from your email list.
This piqued my interest. You see, I have just set some 12-month financial goals and one of them was a specific income goal. When I heard the “$1 per name per month” statistic, it finally clicked. All I have to do is get the same number of names on my email list as my monthly income goal. All of a sudden things seemed more doable.
